How to define Multiple RFCs from R3 to multiple adobe document servers

Hi Guys,

I have 2 Adobe document servers are configured (nw04). I am trying to connect the ADS servers to a R3 backend.

One of the steps I have to do to complete the process is to define a RFC from R3 to ADS server with the name of ADS (connection G).

How do I create the second RFC to the second server? I cannot create 2 RFCs with the same name of ADS.

I would like to know if I create the second RFC with a different name, will it work or... What do I have to do to make it work?

Thanks

Hello,

You can create only one connection with name ADS. You have to use different name for your second connection.

The other name will also work fine, but the application has to specify it wants to use this alternate ADS eg. 'ADS_OTHER' and not the default one, what is named 'ADS' in SM59.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the reply.

Where do I define the RFC name in the ADS application? For example, I would like to call the second RFC in R3 as ADS2.

Thanks

Hello,

it depends on what you use. Cehck eg. FP_TEST_00 here you can explicitely define wich ADS destionation to use when executing the request. Unfortunatelly I am not an application specialist, so I do not know how to customize different applications.

Kind regards,
