Do you happen to know what the SRM 6.0 status currently is, i.e. ramp up, released? If not released yet, when is it likely to be.

SRM 6.0 will come in September .. SAP is not going to make the 1st July and it is more likely it be September. Either way it should be this year.

If you are planning an upgrade then the ideal would be to go to SRM6 as the backend is quite different i.e. BSP/Web Dynpro's instead of SRM5's ITS pages. Also the Workflows are different, and the way you invoke your buisiness logic. The incorporation of Muse (outlook/word) integration planned for later SP's would be earlier to adapt if on SRM6 as opposed to SRM5. Atul has listed a link with details of what is in SRM6.
