In which Table and Fields do i find the cost price of a particular material?

Hi Binayak,

In Table MBEW.

If VPRSV is 'S' use Standard Price (STPRS) else if equal to 'V' use Moving Av.Price (VERPR).

Remember to divide this value with the pricing unit PEINH.

But tell me the price which I get from these table, is it

same as the Purchase Order price in which we are

purchasing the material.

Here you enter the cost price of the material (The cost that was incurred in procuring the material), the price with which the material was bought for including all the surcharges etc. If that is your purchase order price then it is same as cost price.

Hi Binayak,

Usually it is the cost of procurring or manufacturing the product.

Also note it could vary from client to client. Eg) Storage cost could also be added to the product cost by one client to this field and not by another client.

In the PO I want to know the cost price of a material ( for a particular batch number),

( only the cost price excluding frieght, excise , cess and vat).

How do i get it ?

Hi Binayak,

Go to [ME23N]. Select the line item and click on the condition tab. The value against PB00 would be the gross price.

Let me make things simpler for you, I want to know the profit margin

say PR00 - PB00. I will get PR00 from VBRP table (Field KZWI1/FKIMG)

for a particular MATNR and CHARG.

But from where do I get PB00 for this particular MATNR and CHARG.

In table EKKO give the PO number and find out the Doc.Condition number (KNUMV). Use table KONV with the Doc.Condition number and select the necessary records.
