hi experts..

I am instaling <b>Netwavier- web dynapro Java</b> . i ahve instaled the SAP console and NW developer studio. but after that when i try to configure the NWDS by <b>window>prefrences>Sap j2ee engiene</b>. i tryed for the but did not get the SAP J2ee engien in the Prefrences. Please request you to suggest on the same .why i am not seeing SAP J2ee engien still the SAP MNGT Console is turning to green.

Plz help Me..

U can also find the information about the web as server in

http://<Servername>:<http port>/index.html

then click the System Information link and give the user credentials

i tried to follwo the same steps but i am not seeing the SAP j2ee engine option in Windows> Prefrences. i have started the SDN and its green.

plz suggest on the same.

HI

In the NWDS go to the windows , Select the show view and in that select the J2EE Engine

Then you can see the J2ee engine status in that view

In the NWDS go to the windows , Select the show view and in that select the <b>others</b>

In that Expand <b>J2EE</b>

There you can find the J2EE Engine

Hi mahi..

IT seems j2ee engine is not installed... Bcs you can sure see j2ee engine in windows --> show view.. But u r saying tht it not visible there..

Try this too

Go to the windows > Custumize perperstive and then Custumize perperstive pop up will open

In the Available item list select the J2ee engine

Check this..

Windows>Preferences>Modeling>Ejb Preferences>Activate Promote accessors and deactivate Remove declarations and Hide cmp accessors..

then try...

try by delete the .metadata folder from workspace and restart nwds .
