Are you using .net2003 or vs2005? connector depends on visual studio version.

i installed both versions 2003 and 2005... on xp everything works fine with this constellation...
do you have SAP Gui for vista ?
the librfc32.dll file might be the bottleneck.
see if you can replace the file from a working version ( from xp)
