Hardware Requirements needed to install R/3, XI and EP server.

Hello Friends

We have recieved SAP (R3 and Netweaver) software. We want to install R/3, XI server and also Enterprise Portal server on Windows XP.

What are the hardware requirements? I would appreciate if some one can give me details about the info on required memory, diskspace etc.,

Is it a good practice to install all these 3 on one machine?

SAP XI/EP - 2gb ram(min requirement), and 80gb hard drive(min requirement) and any processor after P-IV will do..

SAP R/3(before ECC 5.0) - 512mb ram(min requirement) and 120 gb hard drive(min requirement) and any processor after P-IV will do..

SAP R/3(from ECC 5.0) - 2gb ram (min requirement) and 200gb hard drive(min requirement)...

Check the NW 04 and NW 04s master guides for further details...

The hardware requirements differ from one client to another client. But for the minimum recommendations I would suggest you to go through the installation document in service market place. Go to this link and check the installation document:
