Is it possbl for a business system to exist w/o technical system?

Hi ,

I have a business system Legacy_File_System_BS but when i click on the other attributes tab in the Configuration It says no object found.

i checked out the SLD but no corresponding entries exist and yes it is not a business service since I can view it in the Business sytem in the objects tab

and not in business service .

Goto XI start page -> SLD -> BS and open your business system. In there you will find information like;

Technical System:

Client:

Logical System Name: etc

No. Not possible at all. The business system refers to a technical system.

The technical system has the product installed on it.. So when u are referring to your business system, it check for the products and s/w compnents installed on the technical system..

No. Only a Business Service can exist with out Tech systems...

Open Business System in SLD and select it. In the bottom screen, you will get a tab "Integration" which will show you the associated Tech system.
