Missing SICF services for Xi Alerting

Former Member

Hello,

I have a problem similar to the one in this thread, but even worse I think.

I can find service "sap/alertinbox" in transaction SICF, but not "sap/alertsubscription" and "sap/alertpersonalize_rules". They just don't exist.

At first I thought that maybe these services were no longer required since the guide that I followed (How to monitor Exchange Infrastructure : https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/0b4580be-0601-0010-d3ad-bd6ce51a... is outdated. But when I click the links "Subscription" and "Personalization" in the Alert Inbox of the RWB, it tries to call exactly these services.

We are now at NW04s SP12, after recently upgrading from NW04 SP6 (I know :s)

Does anybody have any suggestions ?

Instead of manually activating the service, run the report RSXMBACTIVATEICFSERVICE.

I have already tried that. It only activates the "alertinbox" service and other services. All services are green, but it doesn't show anything about the 2 "missing" services.

Ok, my bad. The solution offered in the other thread does work (SAP note 1038797). I don't know why it didn't work the first time I tried it. Maybe I did it wrong.
