Hi Harish,

I'm not an expert regarding SRM, but I think there should be lot's and lot's of BBP... services enabled via transaction SICF in sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbp...

Do you know for sure that SRM can work only with BBPGLOBAL and BBPSTART enabled?

Which service do you try to start? Is the webgui working?

Please post the URL you use to start a service!

Please also try to enable service IT00 and test if it works. IT00 tests basic IAC functionality.

Best regards,

Henning.

Hi Henning,

firstly, Am not sure whether SRM will work with BBPGLOBAL AND BBPSTART services enabled, but however when i tried activating all services in sap/bc/gui/sap/its/ even then it fails.

secondly, IT00 is also activated still it doesnt work.

the URL which i use is

http://10.10.18.44:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBPSTART/!

http://sapsrm40:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBPSTART/!

both of these result in a blank screen

http://10.10.18.44:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!

when trying this even i get the following message in the IE

-

Error when processing your request

What has happened?

The URL http://10.10.18.44:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/! was not called due to an error.

Note

The following error text was processed in the system D01 : :ITS_P:001

The error occurred on the application server sapsrm40_D01_01 and in the work process 0 .

The termination type was: ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE

The ABAP call stack was:

Module: %_CTL_OUTPUT_FLUSH of program SAPMSSYD

What can I do?

If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system D01 in transaction ST22.

If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server sapsrm40_D01_01 in transaction SM21.

If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server sapsrm40_D01_01 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

You need to use FQDN (fully qualified Domain Name) something likesapsrm40.mycompany.com:8001 .

Search the BSP forum, this has been discussed manytimes.

hi Raja,

Thankyou for your reply.

i get what you are saying... as a matter of fact when u test the service directly (right click on a service in SICF transaction) it opens the URL in IE with FQDN.

well, strangely

http://sapsrm40.kpit.com:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBPSTART/!

this gives a page cannot be displayed message where as without the domain name gives a blank screen.

in your browser go to tools->internet options->Advanced tab uncheck the option show friendly HTTP error messages option and run

http://sapsrm40.kpit.com:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBPSTART/!

see what message you are getting?

As i said earlier , for integrated ITS to work you also need to publish the SYSTEM service to internal.

Hi Raja,

I unchecked the Friendly http messages and still i get a page not found message and i am publishing the system service thru se80 and once it gave a time out

but now iam getting the SRM home page

now both of these are partially working (this is for EBP)

http://10.10.18.214:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/BBPSTART/!

and also am able to see SRM system(sap Easy access)

http://10.10.18.214:8001/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!

but these are partially showing may be because the sytem service takes quite some time to publish

Thanks a lot for the TIP ( publish system service to internal) but some of the features of the system are not showing any suggestions why ?

Hi,

I did have the same problem...

I found my solution in <a href="/people/durairaj.athavanraja/blog/2005/08/21/running-your-first-its-webgui-application-in-sap-netweaver-04-abap-edition--nsp 2204

Hy Harris,

First, with Internal ITS the '/!' at the end of the URL is to be suppressed.

To get your SRM to work with the internal ITS, please check the following:

-Be sure that your Administrator has maintain correctly the ICF host

-Activate all ICF services under its (I understood you've done that)

-Run program SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INT as described in note 790727. It will publish all required services for SRM

-Be sure you've maintained table TWPURLSVR

-Assign a standard SRM role to you're user to be sure to have the right authorizations (even try to assign SAP_ALL to the user to check if the problem doesn't come from authorizations)

Hope it'll help.

Regards.

did you publish the service SYSTEM to internal?

also check SM21 to see the cause of the error.
