material master

hi all

for customer master, we r maintaining A/C group, like for material master is there anything to control all the fields in the respective TAB pages.

exa: I don't want to show devision field.

plz reply!!

Hi u can hide the field by first assigning the field to field selection group and then maintain field selection for Data screen.

Goto Logistics general -> Material Master-> field selection ->Assign fileds to field selection group

after assigning enter the field selection group to which u have assign SPART(division field)

At the bottom pl select the radio button stating by field selection.

And then hide the field u want save the changes and u will find the effect in material master.

For Material Master, Material Type is very important and based on material type, the screens will vary.

IMG > Logistics General > Material Master > configuring material master > Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence
