what is the purpose of the field "<b>Exclusion"</b> in the v/06 control tab
"Exclusion" field in V/06 is the optimization of search system, when condition record is being fetched. If this check box is ticked, once it finds the condition record for an access sequence, it will not move to further access (tables), instead move to nect condition type to search the appropriate condition record for next condition type.

Hi Santosh Kumar,
Condition Exclusion group is used to find the best and optimum condition type.
This can be used to check the best condition type among one group
or to find the best condition type in between two groups.
For this we have do the setting by selecting the required one as
available in the possible options like to be used within agroup
to be used between groups.

SCENARIO:
say when you want to give your customer a best price in a particular season as against a normal price but there might some discouts available on that material. In this case normally the system allows the best price which we want to give and promote more sale and also the discount assuming that he is a special customer. But we do not want to give him any more discoutns as the price is already a best price. So we mark those conditions with the exclusive indicator in the condition type. Now all those conditions who have a requirement 2 are excluded.
Reward points if it helps

Hi
Condition exclusion indicator
Indicates whether the system automatically excludes the discounts that are proposed during pricing.
Use
You can set this indicator in two ways:
For a particular condition record (the field appears on the Details screen)
For all records of a particular condition type (the field appears on the screen where you define the condition type)
Note
If you set the indicator to exclude conditions, there are several things to consider:
The system will still take into account any condition supplements that are part of the condition record for the price (condition type PR00, for example)
You can allow for exceptions where you want to include discounts in spite of the condition exclusion indicator (for a particular discount condition you can specify a requirement that applies the discount ONLY when the indicator is set)

Exclusion:
· This indicator when checked automatically excludes the condition types that fall below this condition type during sales order processing.
· The example we can use here is of Base Price, the system automatically excludes all discount condition types that falls under this base price (like Condition supplements).
