Deploying archive without SDM?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there's any way to export a WD application to the portal without using the SDM tool, i.e. by using the 'Export' function in netweaver developer studio?

The reason I'm asking is that I just don't have access to the SDM.

Hello,

You can in principle deploy archives without SDM, however you would still need password on the deploy port of the WAS server. You can do that using ANT.

But, without password, you cannot deploy anything to the server. So, only way out is to get the password.
