BUSINESS AREA ERROR

when i tried to save the sales order, i'm having this error--- NO BUSINESS AREA CAN BE DETERMINED FOR ITEM 10....how do i address this problem?

hi,

pl go to OB65 and remove the tick against your company code. Since its for practice purpose which you might be doing perhaps, just not worry about the FI assignment.

otherwise Business areas are assigned against a plant and division combination.

Go to enterprise structure > assignment > Sales & distribution > Business area assignment.

In that first go to define rules and in that assign 003, which is plant-distributionchannel-item div.

Then go to assign business area to Plant/division. And do the assignment.

Hope it solves your error.
