Apply License for EP

Hi All,

We have installed EP7.0 as standalone Netweaver Java system.

Now we need to apply two licenses for two different hardware for EP system, as we have a fail over strategy between two servers.

Can you tell me how to apply licenses for these two servers in EP.

Hi,

EP license can be install only from visual admin

login to VA

<Your Server> ->Services ->Licensing Adapter

It also reveals the following required data specific to a system:

• Hardware key

• System ID

• Software products

• Current release

with this values apply license in SMP for j2ee_engine license

Download the license key file supplied by SAP to a local disk

Start the Visual Administrator in the J2EE Engine and then

follow the path: <Your Server> Services &#1403; Licensing Adapter

Use the Install License From File button to upload the file

Select the file with the downloaded license key

Choose Open to continue

Then a popup appears stating that the license has been installed successfully

Restart the J2EE Engine

Hai..

I hope you already gettingthe license key from Service Market place.

after getting the license key..

open the command prompt

goto the path where you have the sap directory..

Ex: For showing --> d:/usr/sap/SID/sys/exe/run>SAPLICENSE -SHOW

For Installing --> d:/usr/sap/SID/sys/exe/run>SAPLICENSE -INSTALL

For deleting -

---

> d:/usr/sap/SID/sys/exe/run>SAPLICENSE -DELETE

For apply licenses u need service market user id and password i hope u already have it so login into sap service market and goto apply licenses key section and get licenses key apply it in ur sap server.
