client creation

hai guys

I installed ECC6.0 SR2 in Suse LINUX with maxdb

after post installtion i have created one client its worked fine

when i enter to this new client with sap* password is pass it is not taking this password

so what could be the reason

Hi,

It should work. Did you copied data in to new client? If you copied please try with the password of copied client.

Manually delete user sap*

login to SQL prompt

<b>DELETE * FROM SAP<SID>.USR02 WHERE BNAME='SAP*' AND MANDT=<CLIENT NO></b>

Hi Raju & Suraj,

ecc6 & netwear7 has a profile parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar" is set to 1 we need to change this to zero the only SAP* and password pass will work

• after changing the profile please note that we need to re-start the instance
