CAN ANYONE HELP WHAT EXCATLY CONDITION INDEX IN (V/06 ) IS ALL ABOUT ? HOW IT REFLECTS VK11 ? IF THERE ARE ANY STEPS IN CONFIGURING CONDITION INDEX IN SPRO PL DO HELP ME ? AM NOT VERY CLEAR ON THIS ?

hai,

condition index is used when u want to see what all the condition types that have applied to a particular product, u want to display a list of condition records for a

particular sales deal and for a material.

Creating a condition index is similar to creating a condition table. In Customizing for Sales, you select the combination of fields that you want in the index key. The system automatically proposes a list of permitted fields to choose from.

hi,

for every condition type we can create condition index by which we can maintain condition records (V_17-create condition)

for every condition index condition table should be created.

according to business scenario , if business wants to restrict the usage of the condition type we have to create a condition index.

for example if you like to restict a condtiion type of dicount only for 1st 3 orders this can be done by using the condition index.

. At the same time in SPRO THERES " MAINTAIN CONDITION INDEX " under pricing . how excatly the condition index in v/06 and condition index in spro works and its importance .

together with condition index "condition /update" allows to restrict the usage of the condition type for limited sales order or for particular condition base value or condition value
