Pricing for a Variant

Hi All,

Please help me with this.

The scenario requires me to crearte a Generic material and do pricing at the variant level.

The generic material is showing up on the Sales Order screen and the Variant is getting created.

But the pricing is not happening. I have maintained the Pricing Condition Record through VK11 with relevant Access Sequences, but the records are not getting picked. No message is getting generated.

In the analysis screen, it says Condition Type is missing.

The item category of the Generic material is SAMM and of the variant is NORM.

I have taken VA00 as the base price condition for all calculations.

Please advise.

Hi,

Do you mean that in analysis it says condition type is missing or condition record is missing? both are different right.

What is the access sequence you have used VA00 which is the standard one ?

It says the Pricing Record is missing.

I have not used the Std. Access Sequence.

I defined my own acc. Seq. ,, should I try using the std. one?

Hi Amrish,

I tried using the Std. Access Seq. VA00, as you suggested, but it still is not picking up the condition records.

I dont know where to look for in the config. all seems in place.

So the Order is having all the variants without any value.

Can there be some other reason?

Please advise, its giving me jitters,,

Amrish, the analysis says 'Access Not made (Initialized Field)' for the condition I am trying to retrive the recorded value of?????????

This time it does not say Condition Recordis missing,, since I have made the condition record using the Standard Access Sequence.

It says 'Access not Made (Initialized Field),,,,,,,,,

Hi,

This is the error when the field assignment is not done in access sequence.

Just go to your access sequnece,select the access and choose fields.

Here value should be maintained as

VARCOND KOMP VARCON Variant

Just checked the field conditions, they are as follows :

VARCOND / KOMP / VARCOND / Variant

this seems okay as you suggested,,, or is there any descrepency?
