hi experts,
i am checking the risk factors and what is missing in all the interfaces.
my scenarios are:
1)file to proxy
2)proxy to jdbc
3)jdbc to proxy
4)webservice to webservice
Can anybody please give some suggestions which areas i need to check and how can identify the risks in the interfaces.
can anybody please tell me what is the general risk factors in above scenarios.
answer will be rewarded.

hmm..hav done some kinda work like that few days back....
General points to be considered for any scenario:
Consider this points and u can add according to ur requirements...
XI Server should have valid connectivity with SAP R/3 server.
Mapping test has been done to confirm successful message mapping and all syntax errors has been resolved.
Communication channels have been checked and have valid connection parameters.
Configuration test has been done to confirm that all configuration objects are configured correctly and assigned to valid interfaces.
Inbound and Outbound Interfaces has been designed and assigned appropriate mode and direction. These interfaces has been referred a valid Message type.
The Message type refers a valid Data Type (defines the structure of XML Message).
The Data type has a valid structure and properties.

1. the receiver system may be down
2. the mapping may end up in error
3. messages may be too big
4. you may you collect pattern incorrectly
etc etc etc
names are not enough to tell you all
you need to know the details to specify all risks
