Can anybody tell me what is happening when we execute the import in import manger???

All data will go to MDM repository or it will go to some buffer for doing some actions in data manager?

Also tell me what is the flow for importing the data??

first go to import manager and do the mapping and execute the import from import manager, after that go to the data manager , find the duplicates and merge???? OR anyother way????

This is the same what reference guide talks ..

This page clearly says that import manager will import data in MDM repository.......
