Hi everyone,

Dose we get any excise document after MIGO, for plant to plant stock trasfer in same company code.

· Ur scenario describes transfer of stocks between two plants within the same Company code. Based on the Goods Received by the receiving plant from the supplying plant, receiving plant creates Goods Receipt to the Issuing Plant. Once the MIGO document is saved, has to capture the Vendor Excise Invoce, Transaction Code J1IEX.

Hi Prabudh,

We have to create excise document whenever we remove goods from the factory. Even in case of stock transfer and free goods supply we have to create excise invoice. The following steps are followed for plant to plant stock transfer.

ME21N Create Intercompany Purchase Order

VL10G Create the Delivery

VL02N Picking and PGI

J1IN Create Excise Invoice

MIGO_GR Goods Receipt Purchase Order

J1IEX_P Post Excise Invoice

Any movement of goods from manufacturing plant has to be accompanied by excise invoice.

Excise Invoice (outgoing):

A business document that is prepared when goods with excise duty are issued from the manufacturing plant. These goods are eventually,

Sold to the end-customer

transfered to another plant (within/outside the company code).
