standard cost estimate missing

when creating sales order and then saving it, a warning message that says standard cost estimate for material 1234567 is missing and then resulting to having a delivery block.. when we remove the delivery block and then deliver it the delivery block appears again...

Pleaase explain why does this happens.... what is the impication of this in the business if we remove it?

thanks in advance for the help... i would like to better understand why it is appearing.

Hi,

Plz check whether the standard price is maintained in material master or not. also go to T.code V/06 for VPRS condition type that the condition category is G. also plz check in pricing procedure that have u maintained the requirement as 4.

Check to see in teh accounting view for the material master if there is a standard price for it or not. If none exists then update the material with a std. price.and chekc the Sales order.
