I could not find any documentation for the transport that is really useful.

The problem is if i am using the flash compiler then no PAR file is generated. In case I am using the Web Dynpro compiler then there is some WDA file generated. Is there any document that shows how to transport the Visual Composer iviews and code for flash or web dynpro, from development to QA or production?

You do have the option in VC to include the PAR file.

Go to Tools/Options /Compiler - and choose Deploy with PAR file.

Then you have to do other "stuff" on the portal side when transporting between environments.

1) Set the ID prefix correctly in both VC and the transport package

2) Include the "localization files" as well as the Model itself (PAR file)

It is documented pretty well in the document
