G/L Account creation

hi,

when i open the stocks in mb1c i get an error saying "G/L a/c 799999 does not exist in the company code" , can some body let me know how i can solve this problem .i have checked with all possible FI settings .but then too the problem persists .

kindly help me on this .

I think u need to go to T code OBYC and check the automatic postings defined based on valuation class and G/L account listed there

thanks was able to solve the problem

Go to FS00 enter G/L a/c no 799999 and company code select with reference enter g/l a/c no 799999 and company code 0001 enter and save

go to fs00 and there create a g/l account

first check which chart of accounts are assigned to the company

and then check valuation grouping code assigned to the company

if not goto OMWD and assign valuation group code

in mb1c use 561 as movement type
