This is with reference to conversation with couple of SDN members, we propose that as a member of same forum, we have occasional meets within the group (expense on sharing basis). If this suggestion looks good to everyone, we can plan of the meet.

I really appreciate the initiative. I hope many of us will remember my posting in SDN when I said it depends on people (US) how to channel the platform given by SDN.

Firstly, Thanks for your prompt response.

If you could just update where do you reside, it will be helpful. But definately based on the response we get, we will be able to take it further.

As of now, the response is from:

1. Amrish Purohit (Initiater for the meet)

2. Yourself

3. Ajinkya Padalkar

As for Agenda, the proposed meet being the first meet, we should focus on introduction & knowing each other. But we can also jointly discuss on any specific topic, if recommended & planned in advance, so that every one can come prepared on the same. Infact, in such meet, we can decide for a particular scenario & have a discussion on the same, which could further enhance our knowledge.

What I think is let's take a cutoff date for confirming presence for the meet say by this coming Wednesday.

We all can send the confirmation mails along with Contact number and address to mail id of Rajesh Banka as he has already given.

Also there might be some friends of ours who may not be accessing SDN daily,if we can contact our friends and make them aware about this event..it will be great

So on thursday we will call every member who has confirmed presence and decide convinient place and time.

Thanks for your positive response to promote the SDN Mumbai Meet. We propose to organize this meet on14th July, 2007 at Hotel Pritam, Next to Dadar TT Station in afternoon for a lunch session at around 12.30 PM. Contribution per person is expected to be within Rs. 500/- per person (Approximately).
