FILE IS NOT REACHING WITH FTP

Former Member

Hi All,

I am working on IDOC to FILE scenario..

in that i need to map IDOC into required output file format..

in moni i am getting succes message flag but i am not getting the file in the

receiver folder..

as i am using FTP as a transport protocol..

I am not able to see all the parameters in moni...

i can see only

<b>inbound message with green flag</b>

<b>Receiver Grouping with black arrow</b>

<b>Response with success flag</b>

I believe i need to get technical routing call adapter ....in moni.

is this is problem because of limited options for my user or something else?

I have used J2EE FILE Adapter as a receiver

i did communication channel monitoring...

here are the steps..

<b>Time Stamp Status Description

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success Message successfully received by messaging system. Profile: XI URL: http://abc.com:50000/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI Credential (User): XYZ

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success Using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System. Trying to put the message into the receive queue.

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success Message successfully put into the queue.

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success The message was successfully retrieved from the receive queue.

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success The message status set to DLNG.

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success Delivering to channel: CC_ABC

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success File adapter receiver: processing started; QoS required: ExactlyOnce

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success File adapter receiver channel CC_ABC: start processing: party " ", service "BS_SAMPLE"

2007-06-27 14:24:36 Success Connect to FTP server "FTPSERVERNAME", directory "F:/TEST"</b>

I believe i need to get one more message which is delivered msg which i didn't get.

<b>The message status set to delivered..</b>

Does this mean is there any problem with FTP or anything else?

i am not able to see the output file in the respective folder of the receiver system.

Please throw some light on the same...

Thanks in Advance..

Reehan

Hey Rehan,

I would rather suggest to suggest you to recheck you cc parameter for ftp..

If you are satisfied then please carry on the following trouble shooting.

Changed the transport protocol to file system nfs & try to generate the output file.

if this works then the only prob is with FTP parameters.

Please do clarify are you using FTPS (SSL/TLS?

Cheers,

Raj.

Hi Raj,

In moni y i am not able to see the the technical routing and call adapter parameters.

i can see only my source idoc in my inbound message payload

i want to see my actual output xml file which was generated after mappiing..

Any idea y i can see only few parameters in moni..

Reehan.

Well pipeline steps are

1) receiver identification

2) Interface Determination

3) Message split

4) Message Mapping

5) Technical Routing

6) Call Adapter.

Test your MSG mapping once in the IR. If that is being executed sucessfully then got to next step n check you tech routing. Last scenario could again bak to square 1 that there is a prob in the communication channel that why call adapter is unable to generate the outputfile.
