Hi Experts,

I have download the patch SAPKD62023 and apply it.

While Import SPAM/Saint update i have been received the error as given bellow.

The import of SPAM/SAINT update SAPKD62023 will now continue with phase

CHECK_REQUIREMENTS.

Error in phase: CHECK_REQUIREMENTS

Reason for error: TP_CANNOT_CONNECT_SYSTEM

Return code: 0208

Error message: error in transportprofil (param missing,

unknown,...)

Hi,

I am trying to apply the same SPAM/SAINT update - SAPKD62023.

It seems to be stuck in the IMPORT_PROPER phase.

If I go into SPAM, it shows the new version 23, but in error on the above phase. The transport log looks okay, but somehow it did not complete.

it happens sometimes .. go back and try to import again , it should finish without anymore errors

Hi,

I have tried it around 3 times (restarting the SPAM/SAINT update), but it always seems to end at this phase.

Any advice is appreciated.

HI Rahul,

Check The Pre-Requistes B4 u Update Spam!

Check Your TMS configuration!

Before configuring TMS Configure CTS Using T-Code

SE06 -->Perform Post Installation acvivity -->Do YOU want to Install CTS -->Say Yes

Then configure TMS

Try and Import SPAM now!

If Still it cannot be imported

Reset The import Queue (Delete the SPAM file From EPS \ IN)

and start Spam UPdate from Scratch

Hope it will be successful this time

Hi Rahul,

Also I would suggest that while the import is going on, in an already opened session check for background jobs.

During various phases of the import certain programs run as background jobs, May be on of the program is running in a loop which is the reason that the phase is not progressing ahead.

Check out the logs of that program where it is getting stuck.

I had a similar problem while applying HR patches on ECC 5.0 with SQL DB.

Hi Rahul,

Hope this is a newly installed system,if that is the case you have to do the basic config for the STMS which can resolve your issue.

Hi,

Go to Tcode STMS ->Systems Overview ->Create Virtual System

STMS -> Transport Routes ->Edit transport Layer ->Create and then add the transport route.

Then you can get rid of the error.
