Hello Folks,
We are upgrading from ECC 5.0 to 6.0. We have a bunch of languages installed in the system. In the Prepare phase during the LANG_SELECT the Prepare gives the follwoing error message and is stuck.
Please mount another Language Disk for these language(s).
You need at least CDs which satisfy the vector "DE"
(standard languages) for all components.
It is not allowed to omit this update.
? continue
? cancel
Does anyone have encountered this issue If so what was the resolution?
Thanks
Mustafa
Hi Mustafa.
English and German are the two system languages - normally they are always installed. you have to upgrade them too - mount the disk with the german language on it and enable it for prepare (set new mountpoint).

Hi,
I think, Language folders need to copy from DVDs to server. You need to enter the mount point as mentioned below example.
MOUNT POINT 01 = D:\Languages\LANG1
MOUNT POINT 02 = D:\Languages\LANG2
MOUNT POINT 03 = D:\Languages\LANG3
MOUNT POINT 04 = D:\Lan\LANG4
MOUNT POINT 05 = D:\Lan\LANG5
MOUNT POINT 06 = D:\Lan\LANG6
Thanks and Regards

Hi Mustafa,
I guess that you have loaded all the DVDs for the languages you have already installed on ECC 5.0? It looks like it wants all the CDs available at this stage.

Graham
