Hi

what is message level security in XI ?? whether it blongs to security within XI ( I mean within business) ?? or it also means security of message when we communicate in case of B2B ??

There are adapter which enable you to encrypt/decrypt messages.

Some of them are

XI ADAPTER (ENCRYPT/DECRYPT)(SIGN /VERIFY)

MAIL ADAPTER (ENCRYPT/DECRYPT)(SIGN /VERIFY) S/MIME STANDARD

SOAP ADAPTER (ENCRYPT/DECRYPT)(SIGN /VERIFY) OASIS WEBSERVICES STANDARD

RNIF, CIDX (ENCRYPT/DECRYPT)(SIGN /VERIFY) (*NON REPUDUATION OF RECIPT ACK)

These adapter are mostly used in a B2B environment as security of the message being transfered is critical to the organization.

You can also use options like PGP encryption/decryption, XOR encoding/decoding, Implementing SAP's Authorisation Objects, etc..The Authorisation obejcts are limited to an SAP env (like ECC or XI). But the others are not.

message level security means it is for each message it can be done in adapter engine or commiunication channel and sending or recivng system. it depends where you want to security for the message.
