hi

Also, for a smooth experience with the XI tools, using j2sdk ver 1.4.2.5-2.8 is recommended.

Hi,

>>>Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system

Did you try "Re-initialize and Force Sign in " option for the ID in the "Java Home--> Administration" page. Once in that page, click on "Java Webstart Administration":

If not do that and reopen your ID.

hi,

try this:

go to java web start> file> preferences --> advanced --> application folder --> clear folder.

this will clear the cached jars n next time u try to launch IR it will pick the jars from the server.

c if it helps.

i am not completely convinced that Java version of local system will have any effect on launching coz i am using Java version 1.6 and it is working fine without any problem at all.

Now coming to your problem, though you have already checked, the error message shows that there is some problem with the windows security. Check the jar file once again. Also check the firewall settings of windows. Finally clear the cache.

Hey

Java 1.6 will cause problem if ur service pack is less that SP11.
