Handling Unit Management - Number Range Question

When i am trying to access HU02 and i getting error :" HU functions outside of the delivery only via unique number assignment". I did update the config Define pack materials". When i tried to check the box for " Unique HU number assignment" I get the following error " Packaging material types are not uniquely set in customizing". Could some one help us out here please.

Dear Harish,

In IMG under

Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Packing -> Define Number range for Handling Units

An internal assignment is carried out in the standard delivery for handling units, from the number range interval '01'. Maintenance of further intervals is not necessary, as the interval cannot be set.

If the number range is not available for the interval '01', you must insert the number interval '01'.

Hi,

Ensure that your packing material types are set up correctly

Have a look in transaction VHAR at the detail of each type
