Date field Navigation by year instead month by month

hi,

Is it possible to navigate in Date field by year. Currently we get to see the current month in the Date field and we only navigate month by month. is there a way to change this navigation and able to select any year.

Reason I am asking this is, I have DateOfBirth field on the form and its very difficult to navigate month by month till 1950,1960.

Hi there,

There is no way at the standard sap date field help component. You can create a window with a calendar component and implement this feature, but you can change anything with the standard help.

I am talking about the Adobe Interactive Form Date Field. I am sorry I forgot to mention that.
