Can u just tell me the advantages of file to file scenario

File content conversion,which helps in converting flat file to XML and Vice versa

FTP(File Transfer Protocal)

as ahamad said, thier is no advantage / disadvantage.

we have use file adapter when the application are able to communicate with file(txt / xml)

Hey

there is nothing like advantage of File to File scenario,its just that we are integrating two interfaces and both of them are able to talk to XI with the means of FIle adapter.

one thing which file adapter additionally has is the File content conversion,which helps in converting flat file to XML and Vice versa
