service sapms <SAPSID> unknown

Hi!

I am just configuring SAP SOLMAN 4.0 on Windows and establishing connection to the SAP.

The steps I already done:

- Installation of saprouter (incl. installation of SAP router service, edit the saproutertab with " P * * * ")

- Executing of the programm lgtsg.exe

- Installation of service connector

- the status of SAPRouter via service.sap.com/system-data is opened, port is 3299

- I assigned S-User for SAP Support Portal

- I assigned User for communication with SAP Service and Support

- I checked the values in etc/services:

sapdp99 3299/tcp

sapmsOSS 3699/tcp

sapms<SAPSID> 3601/tcp

Unfortunately if I try to test the connection via Tr-code oss1 it is failed.

If I execute lgtsg.exe I am getting the error <b>"Connection to 147.204.2.5:sapdp99 timed out"</b>.

<b>"RTPENDLIST:: timeoutPend:ROUTED timeout"</b>

The same error I am getting, if I try to test the both RFC-connections SAP-OSS and SAP-OSS-LIST-001.

Thank for any helpful information which will be rated...

regards

The first SAPRouter in OSS1 must be YOUR saprouter.

It goes this way:

your machine --> your saprouter --> sapserv3

Can you ping YOUR saprouter from the box you are trying to execute the test?

Hi Markus!

Sure!

I have implemented the OSS1 by the note 33135

-SAPRouter 1----

-SAPRouter 2----

Name my host

Name

IP Address my IP

IP Address

Instanc No. 99

Instance No.

----

----

----

-SAPRouter and OSS Message Server at SAP----

-SAPRouter at SAP----

-OSS Message Server----

Name sapserv3

Name oss001

IP Address IP of sapserv3

DB Name O01

Instance No. 99

Instance No. 01

The problem is, I cannot reach sapserv by pinging it from CMD with >pind IP from sapserv3

The second problem is, that i get the error "internal error" or timeout error by SM59 or by OSS1.

<b>Do you how can I solve the problem?</b>

Thank you!

Can you ping sapserv3 and/or 147.204.2.5 from your saprouter? If not, then there's a problem with the network between them.
