Hi All,

I have an SAP System, which is running on 4.6c and the Kernel is 46D and the version of the Database is 9.2.0.6 and im sure that its a nonunicode system,as it doesnt have the option for unicode system at the SAP level , I have downloaded the Upgrade Guide and i was going through it.The OS is Sun-solaris and its 64 Bit,as the platform id is 370. Has anyone done the same kind of upgrade before can share thier Experiences.

Regards,

Ershad Ahmed.

To avoid any errors follow the database upgrade guide at

http://service.sap.com/instguides

--> Other Documentation

--> Database Upgrades

--> Oracle

---> Upgrade to Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2): UNIX

Follow the note attentively and DO BACKUPS before you actually start with the upgrade.

Then install patchset 10.2.0.2 and all relevant patches as of note

Note 871096 - Oracle Database 10g: Patch sets/patches for 10.2.0

Use the latest opatch before you start installing the patches if you're on Solaris 10.

You need to go here:

http://service.sap.com/swcenter-3pmain

--> Oracle

--> Oracle 64-Bit

--> Oracle 10.2.0. 64-bit

--> Oracle Instantclient 10.2.0.2

--> Solaris_SPARC_64

-

> OCL10264.SAR

That is the correct file.
