pls help me what is the difference between Exchange infrastructure and integration broker.

XI is an integration broker.
Integration broker defines software components,interfaces,mappings and content based routing on open standards

The SAP integration broker is an integration tool used to integrate SAP and non-sap by using SAP Netweaver XI (SAP XI).
Integration broker is sometimes referred as the backbone. Check this presentation for more details:

Integration Broker is an SAP NetWeaver capability (that is, the features for a technological area of SAP NetWeaver) that is supported by SAP NetWeaver Exchange infrastructure (XI).

Integrating between different systems done with the help of Integration Broker. If you need to send the data from one system to another where the use the functionality of SAP XI. If conditions comes into picture then send the data based on the required condition then we use BPM

hi gabriel,
integration broker is a functionality/capability of netweaver that is implemented via XI. so there is no ques of " difference" between them. that is IB is the capability and XI is how u deliver it.
