Hi lee,

iam completely agree with sumith. u have to delete SAP* first and it will be re created automatically when the profile parameter is set to be login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0.

other wise the sap* will not recreate. so the finally options are u have to copy the DDIC user from another client... and create new one in required client...

hope it will help.

Hi

DDIC user is never created automatically when you delete it from database level.

Instead u shud have deleted on SAP* user and then unlock the DDIC user.

Only SAP* user alwayz exist in the system and can be automatically recreated by deleting it at the database level.

Also what can be done is that u can copy the user from another client to the client from which u deleted.

Hi,

It is not necessary to have DDIC user .

It is better to create user DDIC user in client 000, ... insted of client copy user master from 001...

Hi lee

You can create user DDIC in 000 client by following this method so you will not have any confusion and worries:

Open SU01 in client 000

Display the user DDIC

In another screen open client 000

Create user DDIC

Now copy the settings from client 001 to client 001 for user DDIC.

This will ensure that you dont miss out anything.
