How to restrict a user from entering posting period R3 4.71, Oracle9i,

Hi all,

I got a typical issue that is . . .Document entry in Financial Accounting (OB52)

We have 10 users who make entries in open periods. How ever bcoz of some reason we need to open previous period and now we need to ensure only specific person should have auth to make entry in previos (but open) period. In the current open period all 10 should have auth to make entries.

Any idea you can throw . . .

Set an authorisation group against the period you want to restrict access to in OB52 and restrict object F_BKPF_BUP appropriately
