hello,
we want to realize an oracle offline backup (once a week).
backup cmd:
brbackup -t <b>offline_force</b> -d util_file -c -m all -u
The process jlaunch create a new log file defaultTrace (10Mo) every 2
min and consumes most CPU because it tries to reconnect to the database.
Which action we can made, to avoid that the process jlaunch tries to
connect it to the database every seconds and to have a quick backup?
kind regards
Hi Nicolas,
to avoid this you should stop the java engine (stopsap j2ee) before you start the backup and start it afterwards. Users won't be able to work in the java system anyway as the database is not available.
Regards,
Cornelia
