What is the difference between the monitoring done on the RunTimeWorkBench and the one done using SXMB_MONI.. What is End to End Monitoring, Performance Monitoring, Cache Montioring .
Hi
I m using PI7.1 according to it ,
SXMB_MONI is used to monitor message(only message monitoring) through pipeline steps of integration server which includes following steps,
Step 1 - Receiver Identification: Determines which system(s) should receive the message.
Step 2 - Interface determination: For each receiver system, determines which interface(s) should receive the message.
Step 3 - Receiver Grouping: Identifying the total number of receivers
Step 4 - Message Branch: In case of multiple receivers, PI will instantiate a new message for each receiver.
Step 5 - Request Message Mapping: Calls the mapping program to transform the message structure to the receiver format.
Step 6 - Outbound Binding: Binding a specific destination and protocol to the message.
Step 7 - Call Adapter: Send the transformed message to the adapter or Proxy.
u can found ur message status after each steps in form of SOAP(header, body, payload) message with error cause.
Runtime Workbench is a tool for monitoring not only components of PI, but also all of the messages passing through PI, centrally through a java based interface.
RWB provides
Message Monitoring
Component Monitoring
End-to-End Monitoring
Performance Monitoring
Alert Configuration and Monitoring
