Is there any way to link an Adapter that requires JDX 1.5 into an XI 3.0 environment?
I'm still in the planning stage, but the API that I need to wrap into an Adapter using the Adapter Framework is only running on JDK 1.5 or higher.
Any ideas?

As for my reference JDK 1.4.2 is the standard version support for SAP XI. Also I request you to refer the <b>SAP note 801868</b>.

I'm aware that XI only supports 1.4.2, that's exactly my problem. The note you referred to is related to Java Web start which does not have anything do do with writing an XI Adapter
