In the Integration Directory, with a file reciever communication channel, I was wondering if there is a way to get ftp commands for file memory specifications to work with the SITE command using the Run Operating System Command Before Message Processing option.
I found a blog from 2005 that said XI couldn't use the site command, and I was wondering if this still holds true.
An example of what I am trying to do is this:
QUOTE SITE LR=76 BLOCKSI=23408 REC=FB
Is there anyway to get the file in the format I need?
Paul,
I dont think it is possible now also. But one thing you can do is to write the file in NFS and in the same communicaiton channel you call a Script which takes this file as an input and executes your SITE commands and do the FTP.

Thanks, that's close what I was thinking of doing, at least for the most part. I was probably going to write a script that wrote an empty file to the system with the specifications, then have XI write over it.
