What is Developer Workplace and how to use?

Hi Experts,

I want to find some thing about Developer Workplace . I want to know what is it and how to use it. Ideally I am looking for weveloping Webdynpro applications in NWDI environments. Can some one send me usefull information on this.

Hi maruthi,

The SAP NetWeaver Developer Workplace consists of an SAP NetWeaver AS Java system and the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

Each part of the SAP NetWeaver Developer Workplace can be installed separately. This allows thefollowing installation options:

1. A combined installation of the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and the SAP NetWeaver ASJava system. This option provides a complete development and test environment for each

developer.

2. A standalone installation of the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio for each developer and astandalone central test SAP NetWeaver AS Java system.

This option provides a singledevelopment environment and a common test environment for multiple developers. This can beused for instance for a larger developer group working on separate development projects.
