Our application consumes lots of JVM memory/heap so we are trying to increase the Max Heap Size to as big as possible. However, when we increase the heap size to more than 1024 MB the J2EE engine won't start. Is there a upper limit on max heap size allowed? Also, does the maximum heap size have any correlation with the physical memory installed on the machine?
Thanks,
Alvin Ma
Hi,
maybe your problem is described in SAP Note 764215 (and the notes 736462 and 129813 it refers to).

hi,
As I remember is 4095M of J2EE engine.
And many Installation Guides recommend 1024M heap size.
