Login Popup in SPROXY

Hi,

At my current customer, when I go to SProxy, it prompts me to login to resource "rep". I login, and every time I want to drill into a folder, I have to login again. The same occurs for steps 3 and 4 in the connection test. If I put in a valid user, the connection is succesful. Why would this be happening?????

If it is not an XI system then your basis guy should add userid and password in SPROXSET table.

Is your backend WAS 6.20/WAS 6.40?

Did you run the SLDCHECK?

Hi,

It is a 6.40 SRM system. SLDCheck runs perfectly. There are no vlaue in the SPROXSET table, is there a standard trnasaction to maintain this table?

Just SE16 to maintain SPROXSET table.

<i>Column NAME: IFR_ADDRESS

Column VALUE: for example, pwdf0436:1080/rep

User and password are also taken from the table SPROXSET

(Entries with the name "IFR_USER" or "IFR_PASSWORD").</i>

Run this report to check/maintain the address of the IB:

TOCODE: SE38

Execute the report:SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS

Maintaining the entries in SPROXSET table solved my proble..

any body having idea on how to maintain in exchange profile..

I have followed the link..but I am getting the below error.

Details: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Failed to create deployable object 'sap.com/com.sap.xi.exprofui' since it is not of a Web Dynpro object.

Hey,

We are facing the same popup issue Richard mentioned. I have a couple of questions -

1) What kind of user is IF_USER. What is it used for. It is not a part of the std Service users created during installation.

2) Is this a std procedure to create proxies. I was not able find this procedure in SAP help.
