Text Determination

Hi ,

Do we have the condition records for Text determination?

If yes, where we will maintain (Tcode)?

If No, How the text elements copied automatically ?

My issue is,

I have the 2 Header output types HDR1 & HDR2,

In HDR1- text is printing which i maintained manually in del,

where as in HDR2- text is not printing?

(Hint: Programm & Form is the same for both output types,

Infact HDR2 is the copy of HDR1)

Any inputs,ideas ,plz welcome

Hi,

As per me there is no master record for text.

Text is being copied by configuration setting in VOTXN Select test procedure and select option as Text id in text procedure.

Here for the text id in field Text obligatory maintain the option as X or Z.

I have gone through the configuration part, as its fine maintained.

while creatign sales order, we need to enter it manually ?

which flows this text from order to delivery.

after that in del ,this text is not printing in output?

I struck here.

any inputs?

Hi RMD,

For this I think only points you can check is the output program

I suppose this text field has not been considered for printing.

You can check and if not maintaied,modify the output program...else revert back.

we debug the program n found that text element is not picking up for HDR2 output type,

where as this prog & text elements maintained for all languages.

As I have understood that in program the code is present to pick up the text but still it is not picking up ?

Yes,

For that we have the proof also , Using this same program we were able to see the text elements in HDR1.

Hi,

U will not maintain records separately for Text. But u can text information for aprticular customer in XD02 by going to extras and texts in top menu, so that this information will be rferenced for this particular customer when u r creating the sales order. But before this u need to the assign the text determination procedure to the account group.

Similarly in the sales order also u can maintain text for the particlular line items by selecting the line items and going to texts. this information will be referenced for the delivery type and billing type, But before this u need to assign the Text determination procedure to the relevent documents. But we donot maintain the records separately
