How to check transport is running?

Hello Gurus,

I have executed "tp import all " command at OS level (windows) to import few requests into system.

After this command i have seen in task manager "tp" & "R3trans" were running.

As import was running for long time, I have checked SLOG & found import is running in MAIN IMPORT phase without any error. In ALOG also no errors were present.

But I found "tp" & R3trans" processes were not present in Task manager. Does it mean that transport is cancelled or ended ? How to confirm that tp is running?

Note: Before running "tp import all", i have set tp locksys.

Actually i was importing total 15 requests at a time using tp import all.

requests containing huge time , so i can understand it can take long time in MAIN_IMPORT phase.

But in quality system, it took 3 hours to complete MAIN IMPORT phase.

Now in prodcution it is taking more than 7 hours, something is wrong.

I just want to make sure that tp is running or not, if it is not showing in task manager ?

Hi Imran,

I think it takes more time for importing. since its in production server it might be large amount of data stored.

U can see in sm50/ sm66 whether any background process is stopped. u keep on refreshing.
