Different kinds of route determinations
Route determination without weight group (order) for each combination of departure country/zone and destination country/zone. For delivery route determination, choose Route determination with weight group (delivery). Then enter a route for a combination of influencing factors (shipping conditions, transport group and weight group, where necessary).
Based on cost why would you do rate determination based on weight code?
Bec'z weight is main factor for determaining the route
What is Storage shipping location determination is based on?
Plant and storagecondition
Movement type for goods issue?
Based on transcation like 601 for plant to customer 651 for customer to plant
Do we ever see the moment type in the sales order?
NO
What is PGI in the delivery document what happens in the back group? How does the delivery document change?
PGI is the posting the goods for delivery in the back group all inventory accounts updated and document flow and stocks updated in the plant
How is Background transaction used to create delivery doc.
You can use for sto tcode--->vl10b to create delivery
10.How does one create a transfer order deal for a delivery?
By useing tcode lt03
how the sales order is determined? How is the schedule line determined?

Hi,
. Storage location is determined based on the storage conditions in the material, plant and shipping point
Movement type for Goods issue 601
We cannot see the movement type in trhe sales order
Due to the PGI, goods inventory is reduced and reduces the value in the plant, cost of the goods sold gets increased.
U assign the delivery type in the sales document type in VOV8, so that when u do delivey that delivery type will be considered for that particular type of orders
Transfer order is created in LT03, For that u have to make active the ware house managemnet
Independent delivery transactions are Free of charge delivery where there is no need to reference an order for this type of deliveries
Sales order is determined based on the reference sales organisation, reference distribution channel, reference division
Schedule line is determined based on the Item category and the MRP type.
Doc type for Stock transport orders is NB(With billing)
reward points if it is helpful

<u>Different kinds of route determination</u>
Transportation Zone of the Customer Address to Transportation Zone of Plant Address
City of Customer to City of Plant
Region of Customer to Region of Plant
Weight Groups
Material Freight Groups
Customer defined User Exists
<u>Based on cost why would you do rate determination based on weight code</u>
I will do this if based on Transportation Zone to Transportation Zone and/or Region to Region or City to City or Transportation Zone to Region or Transportation Zone to City, the vendor charges me different costs on the primary basis as weight of my finished goods being shipped out.
Example - If i am a transport vendor and am shipping High Speed Diesel (HSD) from Mumbai (Western Region) to Imphal (North East Region) i will charge you more because of the weight of the tanker and the route. If the same tanker is to go to Delhi, i will charge you less because the route is more easy.
<u>Storage shipping location determination</u>
Based on the Assignment you do to a particular plant and storage location in the Enterprise Structure
<u>Movement type for goods issue</u>
