how to delete/cancel an order after we did pgi.

Hi Sridhar,

It is not possible to delete an order, once subsequent activity has been performed. You definately can control that order is not despatched, by maintaining Reason for Rejection in Sales order --> Line Item.

hai,

we cant cancel a order, we can either reject or delete a sales order,

after doing PGI, u need to do

1.reverse PGI--(VL09).

2.remove the picking quantity and delete delivery--(VL02N)

3.delete the order(VA02 order--delete).

first u need to cancel/delete the subsequent docs the delete the order.

If once you created next document you can not delet the order dirctly but you have to CANCEL previous documents like deilvery for that use t-code--->VL09 then go to VA02 delet

Hi Sridhar.,

Once subsequent doccument is generated as PGI for the order is done,First reverse the PGI in VL09 & cansel the delivery in VL02N & you can set reasons for rejection in order in VA02,It is not advicable to delete order

Hello,

The system will not allow you to do anything in the order once subsequent documents has been processed. Here if you want to delete the order, cancel the delivery by VL09, then go to the change mode of the order, heder tab --> order --> delete.

It is not advicable to delete an order from SAP, maintain a 'reson for rejection' for the line item in the change mode of the order.

Hi Sridhar,

When u u r done PGI, the goods movement is done i mean the delivery is done then how can u cancel the order even if u cancel the order how can u stop the delivery,

hi,

since the subsquent documents are generated i think it cannot be deleted

but still try to do this

go to transaction code VA02 and delete the the line items and save the sales order

then again go to va02 and go to menu bar where you can find the delete .
