Do we need to install JDBC driver to connect with externeral databases using JDBC adapter in PI 7.0 (to connect with SQL Server)?
It is required to install JDBC driver in XI 3.0, but I was told by Basis that it is not required to install in PI7.0. They said, it come with deiver which we can use to connect SQL Server directly. I checked for this info at several places, based on what I read, we need to install JDBC driver.
Any thoughts??
thanks..
Hi Hari,
You need to install JDBC Driver in XI 3.0 as well as XI 7.0.
Download the following JDBC Driver. Once you deploy this driver you would be able to connect to SQL Server 2005 as well as 2000.
