SCM 5.0 SR2 and SCM optimizer

Hello friends

our installation is based on solaris/oracle. Soon we are going to install

SCM 5.0 and we would like install(if possible) SAP SCM Optimizer also. As I read in SCM master guide, optimizer is based on windows.

My question is, could be possible to install optimizer on windows and connect it to SCM installation on solaris ?

Is there any problem with licensing (solaris and windows installation) ?

I got the answer from sap. This is possible to install SCM optimizer in windows environment eventhough SCM is installed on Solaris.

Hi Simon,

We have installed Optimizer on Windows and SCM on Solaris.Our Basis team is having difficulty in integrating these two system.

Can you please help us in integrating these two system.

Configuration wise every thing is good but when we RFC connection setup is not working.

Does these two systems need to be on the same Domain ?
